Reserve Application

Our department has an open application process for reserve police officers, which are called on to volunteer hours for training and community service events. Also, the department uses the reserve officers to fill vacancies in part-time paid positions, which can lead to full-time.

Currently, reserve officers are required to serve (32) hours a month, through the training process.

*Applicants must be a resident of the State of Ohio and hold a valid educational commission and certificate with O.P.O.T.A.*

*This is an intent to apply for a reserve police officer, a formal application and background check applies as part of the appointment process, which can take up to six months*
